I have a 9 week old son called Max who is missing his left ulna bone. He has tight skin webbing around his elbow that restricts his movements. He is so cute he just melts my heart. Already he has me wrapped around his tiny fingers.
We are going to have our first ortho consultation soon and wanted to be prepared with questions for them on how to help Max. I was wanting to know what type of procedures either mild or surgical parents have done to improve the movement if there wee/big ones have skin webbing.
As anyone with missing ulnas will know it is pretty uncommon and as far as we know we may be the only ones in New Zealand with it. So we may be the ones giving the specialists the information that I have gathered.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
