Hello, my name is Laura. I have a wonderful fiancee who was born with radial clubbed hands and no thumbs. After repeated surgery as a child, he has acceoted his arms as they are and can do almost everything that anyone else can. I'm so proud of him.
About 14 months ago, we decided the time was right to start a family. After a year pf trying with no luck, my boyfriend and I were tested, and he was told he is almost entirely infertile and we would most likely need IVF. We have an appointment for further tests next month. We're both heartbroken about this.
However, I wondered if this was linked to his condition? I can't seem to find any information about this on the web. So I'd really love to hear from anyone out there who has this condition and has a family, or if anyone knows of anyone with children and this condition.
